Synopsis
Birdsong is a truly remarkable tale of love, courage, and endurance set during the First World War.
While staying as a guest in the house of a factory owner in France, Stephen Wraysford (Ben Barnes) embarks on a passionate affair with his host's wife. A controversial, yet heartfelt romance, Wraysford's enduring love for Isabella gives him the strength to go on, even when he find himself back in France amid the destruction and chaos of war.
A spellbinding story, Birdsong induces a whole range of emotions and is one of the most powerful shows ever to hit the West End.
