Siobhan Dillon will be starring in the latest production of classic show Grease at the Piccadilly Theatre. Siobhan will be starring alongside Susan McFadden and Danny Bayne. Siobhan's co-stars won the roles of Danny and Sandy in ITV's talent search Grease is the Word.

Early Life

21 year old Siobhan was born in Lichfield, Staffordshire where she was often involved in drama productions at school and in the local area. Siobhan was always interested in music, performing and fashion. Before beginning her West End career, Siobhan had attended the London College of Fashion.

Siobhan Dillon got her big break when she entered the BBC's talent search, How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria. This show was created to find an unknown actress to play the iconic role of Maria Von Trapp in The Sound of Music. Originally Siobhan narrowly missed out on the chance to be in the top 10 finalists, but was called back when another competitor dropped out.

The 'second-chance' Maria took the competition by storm and finished third behind Helena and Connie Fisher, who took the role.

Career Highlights

In recent months, Siobhan has been in America recording her debut album but has returned for rehearsals of Grease in London. Grease producer, David Ian, has said that he knew Siobhan was something special when he first saw her audition for The Sound of Music, he has said that he is very pleased that she will be joining the cast of Grease. Siobhan has stated that she is 'utterly thrilled' and has claimed that this is a 'dream come true.'
