Early Life

Webbe was born on 30 March 1978 in Manchester. A talented and passionate footballer, Webbe was signed to the Port Vale School of Excellence for four years and was spotted by Liverpool and Aston Villa. He tore his ligament at the age of 17 which meant he could not play the sport professionally and went on to enjoy a successful music career.

Career Highlights

Webbe rose to fame as a member of chart topping boy band Blue, well-known for their hits All Rise and One Love. He also went on to have a successful solo career with songs such as Lay Your Hands and No Worries.

Webbe currently stars as gangster Shank in the hit musical Sister Act.

Interesting Facts

Webbe is the only member of Blue to release a second solo album with a third on the way.
