Barks is currently playing the role of Éponine in the long-running musical Les Misérables.

Early Life

Barks was born on 2 October 1990 and raised on the Isle of Man. A lover of dance, Barks studied ballet, modern and tap with Dancers Barre, Stagecoach, Theatrix and the Manx Ballet Company. A talented singer, Barks is a member of the Manx Operatic Society and studies theatre at Arts Education Schools in London.

Career Highlights

Barks appeared at the 2007 Peel Bay Festival in the Isle of Man performing alongside a host of stars. She went on to release her debut album, Looking In Your Eyes.

Barks rose in fame on the reality TV show I'D Do Anything. A sensational entertainer, Barks came third on the show which saw Jodie Prenger crowned as Nancy.

Barks is currently appearing as Éponine in the long-running musical Les Miserables.

Interesting Facts

The Isle of Man was renamed the Isle of Sam by the Tourism Minister Adrian Earnshaw on 29 April 2008 to show her in the competition I'd Do Anything.
