Davison was born in Streatham, London. He studied at the Winston Churchill School and trained at the Central School of Speech and Drama.

Career Highlights

Davison starred as the fifth doctor in Doctor Who from 1981- 1984. He also played Tristan Farnon in All Creatures Great and Small and David Braithwaite in At Home with the Braithwaites. A talented and successful actor Davidson has appeared on the West End stage in roles including Amos Hart in Chicago (1999) and King Arthur in Spamalot( 2007/2008).
