Melanie Chisholm was born 12 January 1974 in Whiston, Merseyside and brought up in the Liverpool suburb or Rainhill and then Widnes. She attended Fairfield High School before attending the Doreen Bird College of Performing Arts in Sidcup Kent where she studied for a diploma in dance, singing drama and musical theatre.Career Highlights
Chisholm , also known as Sporty Spice, shot to fame after joining 90s girl band sensation The Spice Girls. A successful and inspirational group they enjoyed hits with songs such as Wannabe and Two Become One.Mel C also enjoyed a successful solo career releasing multiple singles and albums. Never Be the Same Again, featuring TLC member Lisa Left Eye Lopes, was Mel C's first UK number-one single as a solo artist and her album Northern Star was a great success selling over a million copies.
A talented singer and actress she made her West End debut as Mrs Johnstone in Blood Brothers London.
