Early Life
Jennifer Ellison was born in Liverpool in 1983. She trained as a dancer from the early age of 3 years old and was always determined to become a famous performer. Jennifer Ellison earned a place at the prestigious Royal Ballet School where she was trained as a classical ballet dancer.
Career Highlights
Jennifer's first television role was in the popular British soap opera, Brookside. She played the role of Emily Shadwick, one of the best loved characters on the show and quickly became a familiar face on British television. Jennifer stayed with Brookside for 5 years, between the ages of 14-19 years old. She left the show to pursue her career further. Jennifer Ellison began a music career and pursued a successful modeling career. She then took on the role of Roxie Hart in the hit West End show, Chicago. This young actress made her mark in the West End after her first performance in this spectacular show. Jennifer Ellison received applause and a standing ovation from a thrilled audience. Colleagues, critics and audience members were all said to have been stunned by Jennifer's energy and enthusiasm as well as her obvious talent for dancing and acting.
Jennifer Ellison's first major role on the big screen was in the film version of Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Phantom of the Opera. Jennifer played a key supporting role in this hugely successful movie and demonstrated, once again, her flair for the performing arts.
