Helen Dallimore is currently starring as Glinda in smash-hit London show, Wicked. This spellbinding story of the Witches of Oz is Helen's West End debut.

Early Life

Helen Dallimore was raised in Oxford and in Sydney, Australia. Helen trained as an actress in Sydney at The National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA). Helen Dallimore was first recognised when playing the role of 'Miss Adelaide' in 'Guys and Dolls' while still studying at NIDA.

Career Highlights

She was cast by the prestigious Sydney Theatre Company and performed in shows such as: 'The Unlikely Prospect of Happiness' and 'The Hanging Man.' The writers of 'The Hanging Man,' Upton and Edwards, created the central role of Simone for Helen Dallimore. This part was later played by Madonna in the West End production of the show.

As well as an impressive stage career, Helen has also enjoyed success in both film and television. She played lead roles in the films 'The Extra' and 'Mr Accident.' She also starred in TV movies 'Secret Bridesmaid's Business' and 'Day of the Roses.' Helen Dallimore has also acted in TV shows including: 'Home and Away,' 'Flipper' and 'Midsomer Murders.' Helen's West End debut in Wicked looks certain to be the start of many exciting things for this gifted actress. You'll be sure to see more from Helen in the near future...watch this space!
