Georgina Rich starred as Baby (Frances) Houseman in the London production of Dirty Dancing. Georgina is starred alongside Josef Brown in this smash hit production showing to sell-out audiences at the Aldwych Theatre.

Early Life

British actress, Georgina Rich, went to school in Dartford, Kent. She left school at the age of 16 to train as a dancer at the London Studio Centre in King's Cross. Georgina spent three years training and trying to make it as a professional dancer before deciding to focus more on the 'storytelling' side of performing - acting. She applied and was accepted to to the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) at the age of 24. She graduated in 2004 and won her first major West End role as Sophie in "Honour" in 2006.

Georgina has training in a number of dance styles including, Lindy Hop, flamenco and period dance. However, she had not danced professionally in over 8 years when she was cast in the role of Baby in Dirty Dancing.

Career Highlights

Georgina's current role as Baby in Dirty Dancing has been the highlight of her career to date. She appeared alongside Diana Rigg and Martin Jarvis in the 2006 revival of "Honour" at the Wyndhams theatre, London. This play was Georgina's first major West End role and she received outstanding reviews from theatre critics.

While studying at RADA, Georgina Rich performed in a number of productions including, 'As You Like It' and 'Women of Troy.' Georgina appeared in TV shows, 'The Bill' and 'In Praise of Hardcore' in 2005.
