Barton was born in Portsmouth, England in 1977. She attended the Horndean Community School in Hampshire and went on to train at the Guildford School of Acting where she graduated in 1998.

Emma Barton starred as Honey Mitchell in the hit British TV Soap EastEnders. A stunning and enchanting actress, Barton has also played roles in stage productions of Grease, Loveshack, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Snow White, Jack and the Beanstalk and most recently Roxie Hart in Chicago the Musical following a successful UK tour.
