Hyde Pierce was born 3 April 1959 in Saratoga Springs, New York. He was recognized as best Dramatic Arts student at school and also received the Yaddo Medal for character and scholarship in 1977. He studied classical piano at Yale University, however, he tired of musical history lesson and graduated with a double major in English and Theatre Arts.Career Highlights
Hyde Pierce starred as psychiatrist Dr.Niles Crane on the NBC sitcom Frasier. He has also starred in movie's such as Down With Love and Sleepless in Seattle and his voice has also been used for characters such as Doctor Doppler in Disney's Treasure Plane and as Slim in A Bug's Life.Hyde Pierce recently hit the West End stage as Elomire in La Bete, alongside Mark Rylance and Joanna Lumley.
