Early Life
Danny Brocklehurst was born in 1971 and began his career in journalism, writing as a freelancer for The Guardian, City Life, Manchester Evening News and The Big Issue. He had since written successful TV series including Clocking Off and Shameless.Career Highlights
Danny Brocklehurst really made a name for himself with the hugely successful TV shows Shameless and Clocking Off.A talented writer for stage and screen, Brocklehurst has three award-winning plays, My Eight Times Table, Nobody and Loaded. He was also the story advisory and the book co-writer of Never Forget, a successful jukebox musical that was based around the hits of Take That. The show enjoyed a UK tour and went on to play at the Savoy Theatre in London.
