Cameron MacKintosh has produced a host of shows in the West End including Avenue Q, The Phantom of the Opera London and Les Misérables.Early Life
Cameron Mackintosh was born to a Scottish father and a Maltese mother and attended a Catholic School in Bath. When he was eight years old Cameron was taken to see his first stage musical, Salad Days, and was so enchanted by what he saw that he was convinced that the only thing he really wanted to do was to produce such shows.Career Highlights
Cameron Mackintosh has produced fantastic shows including Cats, Les Miserables, The Phantom of the Opera London, Avenue Q and most recently Oliver!.A gala celebration was held in 1998 to mark Cameron's 30 years in the business. Hey, Mr Producer! was performed in the presence of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip with proceeds going to the RNIB and the Combined Theatrical Charities.

- Mackintosh is the owner of Delfont Mackintosh Theatres, and owns and operates seven of London's West End Theatres.
