Billie Piper recently starred as Hannah Baxter/Belle de Jour in Secret Diary of a Call Girl and Betty in the TV adaptation of A Passionate Woman.

Early Life

Piper got her first recording contract at the age of 15 and became the youngest artist to get to number one in the UK singles chart with her song Because We Want To. In 2003 Billie dropped her musical career to return to her first love of acting and had since starred in hit TV shows such as Doctor Who.

Career Highlights

Piper made her stage debut in the touring production of Treats which opened in 2007 and went on to play at the West End the same year.

A talented actor Piper appeared in films including The Calcium Kid (2004) and Things to do Before You're Thirty (2005).
